I finally got the bits required, time and clear night to try out the Raspberry Pi setup.
After some initial teething problems with USB connections, I finally have the pi seeing everything, including the Maxdome. My dome only has the rotation controller, not the shutter portion. The home command works fine.
My problem is that I can't seem to get the dome to slave to the telescope mount (Losmandy Gemini). I've put in some values for stuff like ticks per revolution, OTA offset, etc, but after slewing the mount, the dome does not follow.
What config do I need to setup or look into? I noticed there was some settings for "snoop devices", but I don't know what should go there for the Telescope, if anything. I did some searching but I couldn't find anything about it.
